
Never in your life could you ever be prepared to face the reality of losing your mom to cancer. The one woman who you looked up to as the strongest person in your home, becoming struck down by this deadly monster is not quite you are ever prepared for.
Many of us watch our mums suffer with cancer and stand along side with her through her entire suffering. Even through the suffering you watch your mum fight. You realize that its been a never ending struggle against so many things for your mum for as long as you know her.
Flashes of her making so many sacrifices for you and your family hit you square in the eye. You begin to fight along side her. Losing your mom to cancer is definitely not what you have on the cards now that you have witnessed and realized a whole level of understanding of motherhood. You are not ready to let go.
